This position will be based out of our Chicago Office

Accountable for overall value clinical integrity market/competitive positioning provider usability/acceptance and growth/revenue/profitability. Primary duties to include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for planning, developing, and leading a team of Account Executives and Account Service Managers responsible for meeting client deliverables, account retention, and ensuring the operational interface between client systems and operations areas.
  • Develops and implements client retention and growth strategies. Ensures client deliverables are being met, including compliance with contractual obligations; ensures performance review meetings with clients are taking place and benefits are set up correctly and claims are adjudication properly.
  • Supports system migrations; provides subject matter expertise to ensure connectivity and alignment. Develops training materials/forums to educate associates on how to effectively sell groups on the AIM integrated value proposition.
  • Sets strategic direction drives solution definition & enhancement planning prioritization and execution to ensure market competitiveness & leadership to generate cost savings/ROI and to increase quality consistency and safety of AIM’s services on behalf of health plans providers and their members/patients.
  • Formulates directs and drives successful execution & results of AIM’s solution strategy.
  • Serves as lead market-facing executive in key awareness adoption and growth activities and marketing sales conferences publications.
  • Defines prioritizes and drives execution of solution enhancement roadmaps to increase value efficiency effectiveness usability and transparency into performance.
  • Leads health plan professional society and provider relations functions. Collaborates & facilitate with AIM & client clinical and medical management leadership.
  • Hires trains coaches counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.
  • Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field; 8 years of management experience with significant large-scale project management strategic planning and/or consulting in the health care industry; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Business-line experience in oncology-related enterprises and medical practices hospital/academic medical centers with a balance of experience in development and operations/execution strongly preferred.

Vice President – Client Management

Primary ResponsibiLities

  • Development of new client accounts. Potential clients include:  health plans and health benefits administrators/IPAs, employer groups, benefit consultants, state and federal government entities (i.e., CMS, state Medicaid), healthcare providers, and integrated delivery systems/accountable care organizations (ACO).
  • Develops strategies and executes plans to identify, target, and secure new clients to achieve goals in growth, profitability, retention, and strategic value.
  • Networks and prospects for new clients.
  • Sells the AIM value proposition to assigned groups.
  • Provides consultative subject matter expert information on the suite of products offered by AIM.
  • Designs and implements standard and customized bundles of AIM services to seize unique cost-of-care and quality improvement opportunities for client groups.
  • Leads client account implementation servicing to ensure their recognition of value and satisfaction with AIM services.
  • Builds effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understands the issues specific to the client and applies knowledge, insight, and experience into strategic recommendations.
  • Understands the business processes that the systems support. May develop product and sales support messaging and materials, and provide input into the design of an account planning and renewal strategy.

qualifications

  • BA/BS in health care related field. MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in account management, sales, and/or operations in the health care industry.
  • Successful track record of selling specialty care/benefit management services and technology.
  • Willingness to travel often.
